Requirements
5+ years of design and engineering analysis experience with a BSME or equivalent (MSME preferred)
Experience transitioning at least two complex electromechanical products from early concepts into production—preferably in robotics, automation, life‑science, or medical device industries
Hands‑on project management experience leading a cross‑functional team in a fast‑paced product development environment
Experience designing molded, sheet metal, cast and machined components
Experience with mechanisms; motion control is a plus
ME analysis experience in kinematics, structural, thermal and tolerances
Proficient with SolidWorks (Creo a plus)
Strong client interfacing skills
Hands‑on performance in shop/lab skills
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional teams in designing products with multiple powered DOFs
Work with clients to identify requirements; brainstorm, define and develop product solutions
Manage project budget, schedule and deliverables as the primary point of contact with clients. Coordinate work with other engineers across multiple offices
Create detailed designs and documentation to meet project objectives
Identify and perform mechanical engineering analyses
Collaborate with ID/UX teams to produce refined product designs
Interface with vendors for prototyping, tooling & production
Test and evaluate prototypes, tooling and first articles
Create project and technical reports as required
