System Integration Engineer
As a System Integration Engineer, you will assist in system definition and drive system integration of quantum computing hardware platforms along the QAI roadmap. You will work with technical leads to establish requirements and define hardware configurations to meet those requirements in collaboration with other hardware teams. You will also coordinate with software teams to ensure software tools enable the system to operate and achieve its requirements. As a partner to project and product managers, you will support development of system integration plans with associated metrics for transparent tracking of progress. Your focus will be on the execution of integrating the system to meet its requirements.
The full potential of quantum computing will be unlocked with a large‑scale computer capable of complex, error‑corrected computations. Google Quantum AI's mission is to build this computer and unlock solutions to classically intractable problems. Our roadmap is focused on advancing the capabilities of quantum computing and enabling meaningful applications.
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $147,000–$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
