About the Role On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and driven
Account Manager
to join their team in the
Chicago, Illinois area . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of at least 5 years in selling water treatment chemicals. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and growing the client base, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Prepare and present sales proposals and product presentations to prospective and current clients.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
Provide technical support and expertise to clients regarding water treatment chemicals and solutions.
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling water treatment chemicals.
Strong understanding of water treatment chemicals and their applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
