Job Summary:
The Account Executive will develop new accounts across an assigned territory to support company growth. Reporting to the VP, Sales, this role represents IT Solutions to prospects and delivers solutions to meet their business needs.
Responsibilities:
Seek out and prospect new client accounts and generate sales opportunities
Develop opportunities to drive growth through prospecting, networking, social media, and referrals
Prospect for new clients leveraging HubSpot and other lead-generating tools
Conduct lead-generating activities daily (cold calling, emailing, networking)
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and report activities weekly
Apply professional sales techniques to target the right services for potential clients
Attend company events related to sales and new business acquisition
Understand a prospect’s business needs and develop tailored proposals and presentations with pre-sales support as needed
Achieve targets for new account development and engage in other sales activities as assigned
Develop and maintain good business relations with potential clients and Centers of Influence
Fulfill tasks during onboarding, including ongoing internal trainings
Requirements / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Candidates must reside in the greater Boston, MA area to develop a local sales territory
At least five years of B2B sales experience; field sales & technology sales strongly preferred
Verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Self-motivated with a hunting sales style
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary plus sales incentive pay (uncapped)
