In This Role You Will
Conduct pre‑close reviews of mortgage loan files to ensure loans were underwritten in compliance with Dominion and Investor Guidelines.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies, and federal/state regulations.
Validate credit, income, asset, and collateral documentation against the original underwriting decision.
Confirm that all loan conditions were properly satisfied prior to closing.
Identify and document any deficiencies, inconsistencies, or compliance issues.
Identify any data deficiencies.
Communicate with underwriters and Account Manager to resolve findings quickly and accurately.
Maintain set service levels.
Maintain detailed audit trails of all communications and clearance actions.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years of mortgage QC experience.
Strong knowledge of agency and investor guidelines with a focus on non‑QM.
Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations, including TRID.
Familiarity with LOS platforms such as Encompass.
Excellent organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate findings professionally and clearly in written responses.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
