Business Line is looking for a

Senior Auditor- Infrastructure

to support the agency’s core mission associated with maintaining new and old rail car vehicles in the fleet.

Specifically, rail car maintenance as well as associated engineering support, change control and asset management functions are desired. Familiarity with quality oversight of overall rail car fleet maintenance and support practices was emphasized. Experience with performance metrics associated with a well‑managed, “good and healthy” rail car maintenance program is desired.

Minimum Qualifications

High energy, self‑motivated, self‑starter capable of building relationships quickly.

At least 5‑10 years of infrastructure related maintenance of way, engineering and/or maintenance experience.

Experience leading small, medium, and large‑scale infrastructure projects.

Experience in and with quality, quality management, and/or quality oversight and auditing is a plus.

Knowledge of ISO 9000/9001 and FTA Transit Quality Management System Guidelines is a plus.

Proficient in use and application of the Microsoft Office Suite inclusive of MS Project, Visio, Teams, and Acrobat Adobe Professional.

Ability to conduct and lead audits both desk and field activities.

Strong writing skills, able to write complex quality reports with intended audience ranging from daily riders to the General Manager (GM) and his staff.

Strong knowledge and ability to read and interpret:

Policies.

Procedures and/or SOP’s and related Work Instructions, bulletins, specifications, drawings, line drawings, schematics, Operations & Maintenance manuals (O&M), repair/heavy repair manuals.

Strong knowledge of one or many of the following:

Automatic Train Control (ATC) and signaling systems (e.g., bonds, circuits, switches, relays).

High voltage and traction power systems as well as low voltage systems (e.g., third rail power, rectifiers, relays, breakers).

Track and wayside systems (e.g., running rail, ties, direct fixation, tie plates, fasteners, ballast).

Structures (bridges, tunnels, culverts, bulkheads, retaining walls, floating slabs).

Plant systems (stations, facilities, buildings, elevators, escalators, fire, life, and safety systems).

Automated fare collection systems (fare gates, fare transaction systems, fare targets, fare vendors).

Communications systems (SCADA, remote monitoring, radio, cabling, intrusion detection).
