Job Description Parsons Corporation is seeking qualified candidates for a Digital Signal Processing Engineer (DSP) position at our headquarters in Chantilly, VA.

We design, develop, and maintain complex system components in signal processing, image processing, full-motion video, mission planning, and data analytics. As part of a small, agile team, you will collaborate across functional areas to deliver solutions that meet the mission needs of our warfighter.

What You’ll Be Doing

Design, develop, and optimize digital signal processing algorithms for various applications.

Implement DSP algorithms in software and/or hardware using languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, and Python.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate DSP solutions into larger systems.

Conduct simulations, testing, and debugging to validate functionality and performance.

Stay current on DSP technologies and apply innovative techniques to solve challenges.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal processing, hardware/software integration, and system performance.

Support the product development lifecycle, including prototyping, testing, and deployment of DSP‑based systems.

Required Skills

Must have a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

TS/SCI clearance is required.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software implementation of algorithms related to digital wireless communications, signal processing, signal geolocation, estimation theory, image processing, control systems, statistics, machine learning, and/or pattern recognition.

Experience with X‑Midas, GNU Radio, or MATLAB.

Minimum of 2 years of experience with C/C++ or Python.

Minimum of 2 years of experience with Linux.

Code management experience with Git or other common tools.

Desired Skills

Experience with CUDA or other parallel processing and high‑performance computing frameworks.

Experience working with ARM or other non‑x86 embedded platforms.

Experience using software‑defined radio hardware (USRP or similar) for testing and prototyping.

Application of machine learning techniques to signal processing, communications, and signal localization challenges.

Preferred: active TS/SCI with polygraph.

Security Clearance Requirement An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $86,700.00 – $151,700.00
