Corporate Vice President, Senior Content Strategist Location Designation:

Hybrid – 3 days per week

What You’ll Do Content Narrative, Ideation and Thought Leadership

Define content themes, message frameworks, and storytelling that translate our value proposition into compelling market-facing narratives

Identify high-impact content topics and insights in partnership with Strategy, Product, and Research teams

Build original thought leadership that elevates our brand’s point of view on industry trends, demographic shifts, financial education and regulatory developments.

Guide content direction for key integrated marketing programs and executive platforms

Orchestrate content programs and lead third-party partnerships such as research collaborations, panels, executive features, and cross-channel campaigns.

Content Strategy, Optimization And Modernization

Develop strategic approaches to content planning, optimization, and prioritization based on audience insights, content performance, and business objectives.

Partner with channel owners (web, social, email, Field) to deliver coordinated omnichannel content experiences.

Maintain strong relationships with SMEs, external partners, and internal stakeholders.

Identify and recommend modern content formats and approaches that deepen engagement across the customer journey.

Monitor content performance, identify opportunities to refine messaging or formats, and inform future content themes and priorities.

Content Governance Frameworks And Innovation

Own content taxonomy, messaging frameworks, and narrative guidelines that support consistency and scale.

Define the narrative, thematic, audience, and content-type inputs required for the enterprise content taxonomy and content model.

Partner with Content Ops to co‑develop the taxonomy and model—providing strategic direction while Ops builds metadata, tagging rules, and workflow governance.

Partner with UX Content Strategy to align storytelling with experience structures

Support content governance and processes that improve content quality, reusability, and production efficiency.

Drive content innovation through AI, personalization, and emerging technologies.

Editorial Leadership And Content Quality

Serve as editorial lead—ensuring clarity and storytelling excellence across integrated content.

Partner with Compliance and SEO to align content with regulatory & search strategies

Maintain editorial standards, tone, and quality guidelines for both internal and external contributors.

Ensure content is accurate, accessible and aligned with brand voice and narrative goals.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum of 8 years of experience in content strategy, editorial strategy, or content architecture—ideally in financial services, tech, consulting, or another complex, regulated space.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong understanding of customer journeys, modern marketing, and how content drives business outcomes.

Experience using AI tools, personalization platforms, and content management systems.

Understanding of the financial services sector, including banking, investments, insurance, or related areas is preferred.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Knowledge of regulatory compliance considerations within the financial services industry is a plus.

Pay Transparency Salary Range: $144,000 - $180,000

Overtime eligible: Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
