Founder & Executive Recruiter | Accounting, FP&A, Audit, Tax, M&A, Financial Reporting | Chicago & Remote Director of Finance
Hybrid flexible 2-3 days onsite
This rarely available Director of Finance role is open to external candidates where you would be responsible for leading the Finance Operations team of a $1B+ global, privately held industrial manufacturer.
Phenomenal opportunity for a hands‑on people and process leader to oversee the annual business plans with financial analysis, KPIs, variances, cash optimization, and cost savings initiatives. Support CAPEX and investment strategies by analyzing ROI and reviewing proposals. Oversee FP&A financial planning, budgeting and forecasting with P&L ownership, standard cost planning, and long‑range planning forecasts.
What makes you a good fit for the Finance Director role?
Master's/Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred
13+ years experience in Finance with a combination of finance leadership roles in a matrixed global manufacturing environment
Experience leading, managing, and mentoring a global finance team in North America, Europe, Asia
Strong financial modeling and strategic planning experience
System implementation experience in Oracle a plus!
