Staff Accountant - United States
Location: Remote in the United States (Eastern Time preferred)

Role Overview The Staff Accountant will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. You’ll own balance sheet reconciliations, support month‑end close, and assist with audit preparation in a fast‑paced, collaborative SaaS finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Own month‑end close processes for assigned balance sheet and income statement accounts.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Prepare and review monthly analytics and KPIs to identify trends, errors, or matters requiring communication to cross‑functional teams.
Partner with FP&A, Operations, and other departments to ensure accurate accruals and expense allocations.
Support external audits by preparing PBCs and responding to auditor requests.
Help streamline accounting workflows and improve automation in systems such as NetSuite, Concur, Navan.
Contribute to continuous improvement of internal controls and accounting procedures.
Assist in ad hoc projects, special analyses and systems integrations as the business evolves.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS, cybersecurity or technology environment.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month‑end close processes.
Hands‑on experience with NetSuite, Intacct or Oracle ERP strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations) and comfort with large data sets.
Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
Proactive, self‑driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑moving organization.
CPA or progress toward CPA certification a plus.
