Job Details The Role We are seeking an Accounting Manager (or a strong Senior Accountant ready for the next step) to help build and professionalize the accounting function from the ground up. Today, the business does not have a true internal accounting lead. You’ll step into a blank‑slate environment and help stand up QuickBooks Online, support the chart of accounts build, and work with legacy job software as the company transitions to a more modern platform. This is a high‑velocity services business with a large volume of small residential jobs, and a strong need for clean AP, AR, collections, etc. You will flex up and down — supporting payroll (processed by Paychex), helping close the books, and serving as the financial point of contact to ownership partners.
What You’ll Do
Own AP, AR, collections, and cash processes
Lead tax registrations and coordinate with outsourced accounting partners
Implement QuickBooks Online (with the help of outside partners) and support controls, cleanup, and structure
Move the business from cash to accrual
Support monthly close and communicate financial insights to ownership
Build KPIs and translate numbers into operational insights (nice to have)
Industry experience in construction or trades is required. Experience with ServiceTitan is ideal.
