Key Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial statements for assigned real estate properties
Perform variance analysis and support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
Handle core accounting functions including loan amortization, prepaids, and account reconciliations
Assist with audit preparation and documentation management
Track and maintain reserve draw activity and support process improvements
Utilize advanced Excel functionality to analyze large data sets and enhance reporting
Support system enhancements and automation initiatives
Partner with accounting and operations teams on financial analysis and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3–6 years of accounting experience
Real estate accounting experience required
Solid understanding of debits, credits, and financial statement preparation
Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups
Experience with property management or accounting systems preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
