Workplace Violence Prevention Program Analyst – 137511> to support the organization’s Workplace Violence Prevention strategy.

Responsibilities

Maintain a detailed log of all workplace violence events and monitor related costs.

Analyze complex business problems using data to provide insight to decision makers; develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans.

Work with business and/or clinical units to understand and prioritize data and information requirements; create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.

Optimize enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data filters and indexes that add value to users; develop business cases to support enterprise-wide BI solutions.

Submit quarterly reports to Cal/OSHA on violent incidents and evaluate the effectiveness of the Workplace Violence Prevention plan annually.

Minimum Qualifications

Seven (7) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor’s degree in related area plus three (3) years of related experience/training.

Thorough knowledge of business intelligence functions, analytics, industry standards, and best practices.

Proficient with relevant internal databases, BI applications, and tools; ability to produce high‑quality reports and documentation.

Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and effective solution development skills.

Detail‑oriented, with ability to manage time and organize competing priorities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex information concisely.

Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with a broad range of professional and technical staff.

Proven ability to serve as a technical resource providing advice and counsel on business intelligence issues.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or knowledge of safety incident reporting software.

Experience or knowledge of Cal OSHA reporting or similar regulatory reporting requirements.

Experience in continuous quality improvement.

Special Conditions

Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
