Key Responsibilities

Drive strategic mainframe engagements and deepen customer and partner relationships as the leader of the Mainframe Modernization Specialist and Partner Development organization.

Build and scale high‑performing teams of Mainframe specialists and Partner Development Specialists, supporting business growth, scaling existing AWS services, delivering enablement to the broader field organization, and developing packaged solutions to solve customer challenges.

Analyze customer insights from business drivers, market trends, and feedback to inform product evolution and address field concerns.

Establish clear goals and deliverables, including customer engagements, scalable mechanisms, commercial agreements with partners, speaking engagements, and GTM content.

Maintain deep, trusted relationships with CxOs and leadership of selective System Integration Partners, understanding their challenges, goals, and long‑term vision.

Partner closely with key partners to develop their AWS practice and market offerings, accelerating customer value realization.

Lead and develop partner‑sourced revenue growth and cloud adoption worldwide.

About The Team The position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own end‑to‑end go‑to‑market strategy for their technology domains, providing business and technical expertise that drives customer success. Partner teams manage strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners, delivering expertise and scale for AWS solutions. Basic Qualifications

10+ years of developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience architecting or operating solutions on cloud service providers such as Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.

Experience managing specialist teams, driving strategic engagements, and deepening business and technical relationships with customers and partners.

Preferred Qualifications

12+ years of technology‑related sales, business development, or equivalent experience.

Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations.

Experience as an executive focused on legacy migrations to cloud, building partner business, or leading a practice or business unit.

Previous experience with global system integrators, consulting partners, and ISVs.

The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300 to $288,200 per year, depending on geographic market and experience. Compensation includes equity, sign‑on payments, and other benefits, and is available to qualified candidates.
