Executive Search Manager - Recruitment and Sales Specialist
U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
We are seeking an experienced engineer to develop and implement control algorithms for electric motors, inverters, and generators for our client. This role involves both software development and hands‑on testing of motor drive systems.
Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr
Additional compensation types Annual Bonus
Responsibilities
Design, simulate, and implement motor control algorithms in embedded C/C++.
Develop firmware for motor/generator and inverter applications.
Work with microcontrollers (ARM, TI C2000, NXP, etc.) and motor control modules.
Integrate control algorithms into system and firmware platforms.
Create reusable device drivers and application libraries.
Perform validation testing, tuning, and troubleshooting of motor drives and power converters.
Lead hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) test setups and analyze performance data.
Contribute to product development from design through manufacturing.
Requirements
BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Control Systems.
5 years of experience in motor control design and embedded firmware development.
Strong knowledge of high‑performance motor control methods (field‑oriented control, torque/flux control, sensorless and resolver‑based systems).
Experience with MATLAB/Simulink or similar modeling tools.
Familiarity with digital/analog circuits, power electronics, and bus protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485).
Skilled in debugging with oscilloscopes, analyzers, and development tools.
