Job Title: HR Manager

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
Overview As an HR Manager at AKUA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our human resources department. You will be responsible for HR operations, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management. Your primary goal will be to foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, productivity, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Conduct interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to make hiring decisions.
Manage the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution between employees and managers.
Promote a culture of open communication and trust within the organization.
Implement performance appraisal processes and tools.
Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback and improvement plans.
Identify training and development needs to support employee growth and career advancement.
Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure adherence to labor laws and regulations regarding employment practices.
Conduct periodic audits to assess compliance and mitigate risks.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Collaborate with finance to manage payroll processes and ensure accuracy.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices related to compensation and benefits.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in HR management roles, with a strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in BambooHR/ADP systems and MS Office Suite.
