Senior Analyst, Commercial Finance

Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Monitor the full P&L (Industrial/Milk Intake, Logistic and Commercial/Marketing) and drive technical performance such as pricing, promotions, marketing expenses & SG&A.
Forecast data trends for the overall business, provide recommendations to improve profitability and produce weekly, monthly and yearly reporting.
Challenge and monitor P&L indicators, including volumes and mix, prices, trade & promotions, pricing power analysis, marketing budget and overheads.
Make pricing strategy recommendations through simulations and present performance against budget, prior year and forecast.
Ensure accurate monthly marketing, trade and promotion expenses comply with the annual plan.
Prepare monthly financial reports for presentation to CEO, CFO and VP of the commercial business unit.
Perform accurate financial forecasting for the full commercial P&L and collaborate closely with the Sales team.
Provide volume forecasts and insights for S&OP meetings.
Support Sales on price, margin and profitability simulations and other ad-hoc analyses.
Serve as a business partner for Key Account and Sales teams on all P&L related questions.
Identify and communicate risks and opportunities for the full commercial P&L.
Ensure system data follows required processes and is uploaded in a timely manner.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience in financial reporting, preferably in a consumer foods products company.
Proven capability to manage large data sets in MS Excel.
Strong analytical skills and broad business acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills for influencing and selling recommendations internally.
Team player able to collaborate across multiple functions and disciplines.
Systems knowledge an asset (SAP, Market Track, Tableau/Power BI, etc.).
Proficient PowerPoint, communication, and interpersonal skills.
