Senior Design Engineer – BMS HVAC/Mechanical/Control Systems (Critical Facilities)
Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of our client – an established engineering consultancy delivering cutting‑edge automation, BMS, and control solutions across mission‑critical facilities worldwide.
Salaries: $110,000–$180,000 per year, plus 10% bonus.
What You’ll Do
Develop and deliver detailed control system designs, network architectures, and instrumentation drawings.
Conduct site surveys, vendor oversight, and technical reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
Mentor junior engineers, setting the standard for precision and efficiency across all deliverables.
Support project management and business development efforts through client meetings and technical presentations.
What You Bring
Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience (8+ years).
Proven background in control systems design, BMS, EPMS, or SCADA implementation.
Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and sequence of operations.
Solid understanding of IT/OT network infrastructure and low‑voltage system integration.
Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; working knowledge of Revit, Visio, and Bluebeam.
Experience with one or more of the following: Rockwell RSLogix, Siemens Step 7, Schneider Ecostruxure, or ALC WEBCtrl.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
