Principal Project Manager - Water/ Wastewater

NASA is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and experienced Team Leader with at least 20 years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure projects to join our Seattle, WA office. In this role, you will serve as the Principal on large, complex projects, lead the technical development of proposals and build a local team.
Responsibilities
Serve as project manager on large and complex projects with multi-discipline project teams
Serve as project principal, supervising less experienced project managers on smaller less complex projects
Supervise and direct preparation of planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects
Supervise and direct preparation of plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities
Supervise and direct construction engineering support services
Lead the technical development of proposals
Serve as account leader responsible for creating and growing relationships with one or more clients
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental or similar)
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Washington
20+ years total experience in planning, design, and construction management of water, and wastewater infrastructure projects for major utility clients
Experience with large Washington state utilities in the Pacific NW including King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD), Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is preferred, but not required
Strong technical skills and technical leadership experience, preferably including water/wastewater conveyance and/or treatment systems
5+ years experience in managing multi-discipline project teams
5+ years experience in managing proposals for engineering projects
Experience in managing and growing client relationships

The expected salary for this position is $181,000 - $221,000.
Individual pay is determined based on several factors such as work location, education, experience, and unique skills.
