The Company is well known and highly regarded in it's industry. This is a growth oriented company that has an opportunity to meaningfully grow, primarily through organic growth opportunities supplemented by strategic tuck in-acquisitions. The company has transitioned from Founder to private equity ownership and as part of that transition, there is a great opportunity for an outside executive to lead the business through their next wave of growth. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader who understands global supply chains, a distribution company business model and has experience both on the commercial and operational side and has led a company through a period of meaningful growth. Required Experience

This is an on-site position in the greater Nashville area. This CEO must currently reside or relocate to the area. Proven and referenceable experience as a successful leader in another lower middle market ( Leadership experience in a high growth, fast paced entrepreneurial environment. Management of income statements and working capital required. Have strong experience with international supply chains and sourcing specifically from Southeast Asia. Experience in a business selling into government entities as one end market, is helpful. An ability and style to be nimble while making effective and bold decisions that steer that move the business forward. Experience in utilizing total quality management, continuous process improvement, and other applicable methodologies that improve quality, efficiency, and resource allocation. A blend of sales leadership and supply chain / sourcing experience at various parts of your career, leading to your position as a CEO or COO in your current business. Understand customer nuances from all aspects of what drives a specific customer and be able to advise sales team at a high level on how to grow that business from customer acquisition to negotiating the best relationship with the customer in regard to profitability and overall outcome. Strong appreciation of industrial marketing disciplines including understanding customer demand, market segmentation, end user application development, sales lead generation, and communications (online and traditional). An excellent and inspiring communicator, who respects every level of employee and that person’s ability to contribute to the Company’s performance.
