Job Summary Seeking
four Senior SAP IS-U Techno-Functional Consultants , each specializing in a specific CIS domain:
Billing & Invoicing ,
Credit & Collections (FICA) , or
Meter/Device Management & Field Services . These consultants act as
primary liaisons
between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring SAP IS-U solutions are aligned with business needs, regulatory standards, and operational goals. You will lead requirements gathering, functional design, configuration guidance, testing, issue resolution, and end-to-end process validation across the CIS modernization program. Each role requires deep SAP IS-U expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to guide cross‑functional collaboration to ensure high‑quality, sustainable solutions.
Role Tracks & Responsibilities 1. SAP IS-U Sr Techno Functional Consultant – Billing & Invoicing Key Responsibilities
Configure exception/workflow engines; define exception lists and business rules.
Implement logic for exception detection and resolution.
Configure master data, rates, tariffs, billing cycles, and customer service processes.
Translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications.
Manage meter-to-cash, budget billing, and collective billing processes.
Prepare billing functional specs for enhancements or custom development.
Lead workshops and requirements validation sessions.
Troubleshoot billing issues, root‑cause analysis, and optimization recommendations.
Create process flows, functional documentation, and user readiness materials.
Support UAT, cutover, and go‑live readiness.
2. SAP IS-U Sr Techno Functional Consultant – Credit & Collections (FICA) Key Responsibilities
Design and implement dunning procedures, installment plans, collections strategies, and write‑off processes.
Manage integrations with external collection agencies.
Enhance ABAP routines for credit evaluation, payment processing, and dunning operations.
Configure payment workflows, dunning runs, and utility‑specific revenue recognition.
Implement intercompany compliance checks for service orders.
Troubleshoot payment, credit, and dunning issues; root‑cause analysis.
Lead requirements workshops and define functional specs.
Produce process documentation and support UAT, cutover, and go‑live.
3. SAP IS-U Sr Techno Functional Consultant – Meter, Device Mgmt & Field Services Key Responsibilities
Develop middleware interfaces for SAP IS‑U service orders and external field service tools.
Customize billing/invoice print layouts using ABAP and integrate with Smart Forms.
Configure workflows for meter installation/disconnection and other service activities.
Configure device management master data and integrate with AMI systems.
Validate meter data flows and resolve discrepancies impacting billing.
Serve as the main functional liaison between business and technical teams.
Conduct workshops, gap analysis, solution design, and documentation.
Support UAT, cutover, and go‑live readiness for metering and device operations.
Minimum Requirements (All Tracks)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
5–7 years of techno‑functional experience in enterprise systems or transformation programs.
Strong understanding of core business processes and SAP‑enabled workflows.
Experience with functional design, configuration guidance, testing, and troubleshooting.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder alignment skills.
Ability to manage multiple functional tracks simultaneously and collaborate cross‑functionally.
