Position Summary
The individual in this role will contribute to the development of next‑generation medical device technologies and applications. This position supports projects spanning a wide range of technologies, including complex laser and optical delivery systems, ultrasound, and radio‑frequency (RF) devices. The incumbent will play a key role in designing sophisticated electronics that power and control these products and driving their successful transition into the market.

Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as a key member of a fast‑paced electrical engineering team transforming the medical aesthetics industry.
Act as the company’s primary technical resource for power supply, sensory interface and analog design.
Participate in development of new product platform architectures.
Determine project scope, schedules, and priorities within departmental goals.
Design sensors interfaces, display drivers and power supplies for high‑power laser and RF applications.
Utilize schematic capture and PCB layout tools for all electronics designs.
Design and test controllers, including analog and digital circuits.
Lead the transfer of new products from design to production.
Provide critical input for design specifications and risk‑management activities.
Ensure electrical safety and EMC compliance across all product lines.
Develop test plans for design verification and validation of designed circuits.
Collaborate closely with embedded software engineers on system‑level implementation.
Troubleshoot and perform root‑cause analysis on new and existing electronic designs.
Perform other electronics design related duties as needed or required.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
At least 12+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in designing electronics circuits for commercial products.
Strong background in systems‑level design, integration, and debugging for medical devices.
Experience in driving diode‑pumped solid‑state and flashlamp‑pumped lasers.
Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design.
Strong fundamentals in system and board‑level debugging, testing, and documentation.
Solid understanding of EMI, radiated emissions, and mitigation techniques.
Proficiency with simulation and automation tools (e.g., LTspice, MATLAB, LabVIEW).
Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout tools, preferably Altium Designer.
Ability to collaborate effectively with electrical, mechanical, optical, and software engineers, as well as scientists, to develop new products.
Experience with IEC 60601‑1, EMC standards, ISO 14971, and related regulatory compliance processes.
Familiarity with high‑voltage electronics, PID controllers, electromechanical systems, electro‑optics, and instrumentation—and willingness to expand these skills as needed.
