You will help organizations navigate complex regulatory landscapes, enhance internal controls, and mitigate financial risks. In treasury risk management, you will assess and mitigate financial risks, assist in effective cash management and liquidity, and optimize capital allocation strategies. You will advise on risk analysis, hedging strategies, and regulatory compliance to support treasury operations.
Leadership responsibilities include translating vision, setting the tone, and inspiring others. Your role is pivotal in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. You will safeguard PwC’s reputation, uphold quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset, and foster a healthy working environment while maximizing client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Advising financial institutions on credit risk management topics such as organization and governance, credit process optimization, risk rating model design, and regulatory assessments.
Evaluating, designing, and implementing credit risk strategies to address key market challenges.
Leading and driving thought leadership, innovative solutions, and system-level enablers.
Promoting technological advances and creating an environment where people and technology thrive together.
Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successes for the firm.
Ensuring adherence to professional and technical standards, code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum Experience: 10 years in credit risk or related fields
Preferred Degree: Master’s Degree
Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration/Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated thought leadership in selling and delivering credit risk engagements.
Experience in credit process redesign, underwriting, risk rating, policy writing, and 1st/2nd line defense.
Proficiency with commercial and retail credit risk models, analytics, and reporting.
Familiarity with CECL, IFRS 9, and credit regulatory guidance.
Experience with credit workflow tools such as Moody’s, S&P, nCino.
Completion of a formal credit training program.
Strong communication, presentation, and team leadership skills.
Leadership abilities: coach staff, foster trust, and manage cross‑functional teams.
