Inkling is seeking a visionary Art Director to join our creative team. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll shape brand experiences, develop compelling art direction for projects, present work to clients, and champion the quality of our creative output.
At Inkling, we craft experiences that bridge the digital and physical worlds. Our team of experience designers create immersive physical brand activations, eye‑catching websites, and compelling visual storytelling.
As an Art Director, you’ll transform written and verbal briefs into intentional, high‑impact creative treatments. You’ll need a deep understanding of experiential design, strong visual storytelling abilities, and the agility to tailor your creative approach to each project’s unique needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Concept and develop big ideas for experiential, event, and graphic design projects
Maintain a sharp focus on visual craft and attention to detail
Lead projects with autonomy, driving art direction, design, and conceptual ideas from start to finish
Present concepts clearly and persuasively, building consensus within the team
Collaborate with copywriters, designers, engineers, strategists, and product managers within a cross‑functional team
Take initiative and lead projects independently, demonstrating proactive problem‑solving
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of agency experience concepting and designing campaigns
Proven experience with experiential marketing
Expertise in crafting impactful art direction
History of self‑initiated creative projects
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working cross‑functionally in highly collaborative environments
6+ years of agency experience
Proficiency in developing in‑product storytelling and strategy for emerging technologies
Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Basic proficiency in motion animation design
THE PERKS
Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $110,000, based on skills and experience
