Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility in Kansas City, MO is seeking compassionate and experienced
Cardiac Care Registered Nurses
to join its high-performing cardiovascular team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a
comprehensive stroke and STEMI
facility, caring for patients recovering from advanced cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
About the Role As a Cardiac Care RN, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from:
Open-heart surgeries
Heart catheterization & stent placement
Ablations
Pacemaker/AICD placements
Cardiovascular surgeries
You will play a key role in a collaborative team focused on patient safety, quick response to clinical changes, and excellent outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe, evidence-based cardiac nursing care.
Monitor cardiovascular recovery and respond to patient needs with strong clinical judgment.
Ensure care aligns with Nursing Practice Acts and ANA Standards of Practice.
Assist patients and families through education and discharge preparation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal recovery.
Qualifications
1 year of acute care experience
in cardiac care or similar setting
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active
Missouri RN license
(or eligibility)
BLS required
upon hire
ACLS required
within 6 months
Competitive Compensation
$30.04–$41.50/hr
(based on experience)
Shift Differentials:
+$4/hr Nights & +$4/hr Weekends
Sign-On Bonus:
$30,000
for Night Shift (2-year commitment)
$12,000
for Day Shift (2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance:
Available case-by-case

Unit Details
Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:
1:3 to 1:5 (based on acuity and staffing)
