DDS/DMD Details Full Time Schedules Monday-Friday No weekends 26 Week Contract Position (renewable) 1099 available upon request (EIN required) DDS/DMD Duties Provide incarcerated individuals with dental screening/treatment Diagnose and treat diseases, injuries and malformations of teeth gums and related oral structures Perform exams, utilize diagnostic procedures and instruments Clean, fill, extract and replace teeth, design and build crowns, bridges and other oral structures Prescribe medications Plan programs of exams and treatments Provide clinical supervision of dental assistant and other staff assigned to the clinic, document services provided. DDS/DMD Qualifications Graduation from an accredited educational institution Licensed as a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) by the State in which the position is located.
