Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Genetic Counselor, based in New York, United States. The Genetic Counselor will be responsible for providing genetic counseling services to patients, reviewing genetic testing options and results, and educating patients about reproductive risks and potential outcomes. The role involves collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, interpreting medical histories, and assisting patients in making informed decisions about their reproductive care options. Additional responsibilities include keeping accurate records and contributing to ongoing research efforts within the center.

Qualifications Proficiency in Genetic Testing and Genetic Counseling to provide accurate assessments and recommendations. Understands PGT-M/PGT-A implications. Knowledge of Medicine and laboratory skills related to genetic evaluation Solid understanding of Medicine and Laboratory Skills to ensure precise processing and interpretation of genetic results. Research skills to stay informed on the latest advancements and contribute to the development of innovative practices. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and multidisciplinary collaboration. Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or a related field, with a valid certification or eligibility for certification as a Genetic Counselor. Prior experience in reproductive genetics or fertility healthcare. Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
