Outpatient Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R)/Physiatrist Äì EMG/NCS Focused Opportunity in Elmira, NY Job Summary: We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R)/Physiatrist with expertise in electromyography (EMG/NCS) to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Elmira, New York. This is a full-time hospital-employed position offering the opportunity to practice outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), with a strong focus on diagnostic EMG/NCS services.Nestled in the scenic Finger Lakes region, Elmira offers a low cost of living, excellent schools, outdoor recreation, and a family-friendly atmosphere. It Äôs also conveniently located within driving distance of major cities like New York City, Buffalo, and Philadelphia.Position Highlights:

  • Join an integrated team of specialists in orthopedics, neurology, pain management, and rehabilitation.
  • Perform and interpret EMGs and nerve conduction studies (NCS) as part of a comprehensive diagnostic service.
  • Provide specialized care in outpatient musculoskeletal medicine, focusing on physical rehabilitation.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions affecting musculoskeletal health including procedures such as injections.
  • Collaborate with musculoskeletal, primary care, surgical, and neurological teams to guide patient care.
  • Access to advanced diagnostic tools and support staff.
  • Opportunity to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents through our academic affiliation with Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM).
  • Monday ÄìFriday outpatient schedule.
  • Candidate Requirements:
  • M.D. or D.O. with Board Certification/Eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
  • Fellowship training or significant clinical experience in EMG/NCV required.
  • Current or eligible NY State medical license.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive guaranteed salary: $340,000-$380,000, depending on experience.
