Specialty Care Medical Director
The Villages Health is seeking a Specialty Care Medical Director to lead our Specialty Care Centers, ensuring the highest standards of medical care and advancing our commitment to patient-centered excellence.
As the Specialty Care Medical Director, you will provide clinical leadership, guide strategic direction, and foster collaboration across primary and specialty care. This role combines hands-on patient care with leadership responsibilities to drive quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor clinicians within Specialty Care Centers.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate collaboration between primary and specialty care for value-based outcomes.
- Conduct performance evaluations and regular team meetings.
- Provide direct patient care approximately 2 days per week .
- Oversee compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Participate in budgeting and financial planning.
- Represent the clinic in community outreach and engagement.
- MD or DO from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified in Cardiology.
- Licensed to practice in Florida .
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience , with leadership preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience in healthcare administration and financial management.
