Practice Setting:
* Heart and Vascular Institute of Wisconsin is an independent, 16-physician cardiology practice established in 1968 * 5 General Cardiologists, 8 Interventional Cardiologists, and 3 Electrophysiologists, and 14 APPs * Group moved into a 35,000 sqft stand-alone office in 2019 * 30 exam rooms, 4 outpatient procedure rooms, 3 stress test rooms, on-site lab * Diagnostic suite in house with cardiac dedicated 620-slice CT with FFR, CZT SPECT, as well as echo, vascular and x-ray. CT, Echo, Nuclear and Vascular labs are accredited * Cloud-based PACS system for access to all imaging modalities
Schedule:
* Monday through Friday clinic schedule, with shared weekend and after-hours call * Call is 1:5 until 10 pm, with after-hours calls diverted to a group call center from 10 pm to 7 am * Weekend coverage shared 1:5, with the weekend cardiologist rounding on inpatient census with an APP * Inpatient service is shared 1:10 with coverage from 8 am to 5:30 pm * The primary office averages 40 to 50 echo studies per day, 14 nuclear studies per day, and 100 CT studies per month. * The incoming general cardiologist will see an average of 18 to 20 patients per full day of clinic.
Compensation & Benefits:
* Competitive salary starting at $600,000 annually increasing to $625,000 after 2 years * After 2 years, become a shareholder resulting in an additional $100,000+ annually * 30 Days PTO to start , 40 days PTO as a partner - plus national holidays * Comprehensive health insurance, malpractice coverage (no tail), $2,500 CME stipend, 401(k) with 3% match * High-speed internet, two monitors for in-home diagnostic reading, and potential for increased CME funding for conference travel
