Insurance Defense Attorney Location:
Elmsford, New York (Hybrid) About the Opportunity: A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team in Elmsford, NY. This role offers the opportunity to handle diverse and challenging cases in a collaborative environment with excellent potential for career growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case analysis, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations. Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance carriers regarding case status and strategy. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active New York Bar membership. 2–5+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation (auto, premises liability, general liability, or related areas). Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple cases independently. Seniority level
