Monday-Friday, Days Location:
Open to candidates in: San Francisco, Dallas, Seattle, Chicago, or New York City (Hybrid) Contract Duration: 1-year contract, possible extension
Job Summary: This role will be the cornerstone of the AdOps Tracking team, focusing on building URLs to create seamless user landing pages across web and app. This role will put to use your technical skills working with app and web tracking technologies, with a strong ability to understand the business impact of connecting data together.
Responsibilities: Support Client AdOps as the marketing tech specialist with expertise in Deeplinking, Universal Links, App Links, and MMP tracking. Be the trusted advisor to the marketing team, guiding them on proper tracking methods and best practices. Support troubleshooting efforts, showing analytical and problem-solving abilities to finding the root cause of issues. Understand MMP postback mechanism and can configure the postback flow from start to end. Connect multiple data sources to transform tracking technologies into actionable campaign insights. Support the development of automation solutions to streamline processes such as link testing, validation, maintenance, and ad partner configuration—leveraging both first- and third-party tools and technologies. Interface with technical and non technical stakeholders to guide on requirements and solutions in data sharing space. Interface with vendor partners to ensure Client’s goals are met.
Minimum Qualifications: 2-3 years of work experience in mobile marketing ad tech. Hands-on, practical experience with app tracking in a marketing context, with strong emphasis on mobile deeplinking technologies, is a must. Proficient with Jira. Experience with MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Singular, Adjust, Branch, etc. Foundational understanding of privacy regulations related to app tracking. Excellent solution-driven mindset with can-do attitude. Able to approach the problem from multiple angles to find the most optimal solution. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent quantitative skills and comfort with data exploration tools such as Excel, and SQL.
Qualifications: Experience with programmatic, affiliate, and email campaigns is a plus. Understanding web tracking is a plus. Excellent communication skills, especially in translating technical concepts for marketers and non-technical stakeholders — and vice versa. BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, Advertising, Marketing or other disciplines with demonstrated technical exposure. Experience in customer support, service desk, or project management is a plus.
