Managing Partner | Co-founder@ AT Recruitment | aglover@at-recruit.com Position : Accounting Manager Salary Range : $100K-$120K/ yr Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr About the Role Our client, a growing company in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations, enhance internal controls, and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone with a solid audit background and hands‑on industry experience. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes in compliance with GAAP. Manage general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries. Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and scalable processes. Collaborate with operations, FP&A, and leadership to support data‑driven decisions. Oversee audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors. Analyze financial results to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis. Mentor accounting team members and help build infrastructure for continued growth. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA preferred, but not required 3+ years of Accounting experience Public Accounting Auditing experience Industry accounting experience within logistics, supply chain, transportation, or similar environments. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls. Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite or similar tools a plus.
