Job Description Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of Asset Management & Reliability, this role plays a key part in identifying and eliminating root causes of equipment failures, optimizing asset lifecycles, and driving performance and reliability excellence. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and sustain equipment reliability and asset management programs Lead root cause and failure analyses (RCA/FA), including corrective action planning to prevent recurrence Utilize predictive and preventive maintenance data (including SCADA insights) to identify degradation trends and plan interventions Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, and Engineering teams to enhance equipment design, maintenance strategies, and spare parts programs Maintain and optimize CMMS data, including asset hierarchies, asset registers, PM tasks, and issue/failure codes Track and report key performance indicators (MTBF, MTTR, OEE, Downtime, Availability %, Warranty Life, etc.), including creating and maintaining metric dashboards Support the development and execution of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) programs Contribute to CapEx project design to ensure reliability considerations are incorporated Key Performance Indicators Cost savings Root cause elimination Increased Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) Reduction in unplanned downtime Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Strong understanding of Python and SQL preferred VFD experience highly preferred Familiarity with the impact of vibration, flow, pressure, electrical load, and similar parameters on equipment performance Deep knowledge of reliability methodologies and tools (RCA, RCM, Weibull/statistical analysis) Relevant experience in water midstream/infrastructure or Oil & Gas environments preferred Dashboard and visualization tool experience (Tableau, Spotfire, Excel, Power BI, etc.) Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical audiences Strong organizational skills and customer service mindset Ability to work independently or collaboratively with minimal supervision Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and prioritize effectively Ability to analyze information, situations, policies, and procedures to make logical and effective decisions; strong communication with management is essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills
