and More! Job Details Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Oversee billing, commercial billing, and distributor export accounts.
- Manage and mentor a team of 5 accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Use strong Excel skills to analyze complex financial data and create reports.
- Liaise with our auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or related qualification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like NetSuite and QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Proven experience with financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and cost accounting.
- Strong experience in managing internal controls, billing, commercial billing, and distributor export accounts.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to direct and supervise.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
