Primary Care Physician (Spanish) - Osceola County, FL

Job Type: Full-Time (In-Person)
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-5pm; Onn call alternates between providers and we have a call center prescreen

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join a well-established primary care practice. The physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population, focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and overall wellness.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications and recommending non-pharmacologic therapies.

  • Order and review laboratory and radiology tests; refer patients to specialists when necessary.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and document care through the EHR system.

  • Provide patient counseling on lifestyle, diet, medications, and treatment plans.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including HEDIS and MRA compliance.

  • Supervise and coordinate with medical assistants and support staff to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Serve as a resource for ongoing patient care, guidance, and education.

  • Collaborate with other physicians for complex cases and maintain professional development.

  • Comply with all applicable laws, including HIPAA, and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited program.

  • Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain.

  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.

  • Experience with EHR systems (preferably eClinicalWorks).

  • Required: Spanish-speaking candidates.
