A hospital-based OB/GYN team is seeking a Board-Certified Obstetrician & Gynecologist to provide inpatient coverage, including labor management, deliveries, and urgent gynecologic procedures. Coverage is needed December with a $500/day bonus , and ongoing dates throughout 2026 .
Responsibilities:
Inpatient rounding and management of laboring patients
Management of antepartum triage and treatment
Respond to ED consults for OB/GYN concerns
Perform deliveries, C-sections, D&C, ablations, hysterectomies, and other urgent gynecologic procedures
Manage maternal hypertension, obstetric hemorrhage, and obstetric emergencies
Schedule & Volume:
24-hour call; first-call responsibility
Approx. 30 deliveries/month
Rural inpatient setting with RN support on L&D
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
Board Certified OB/GYN
Active state license
ACLS & DEA required by credentialing
Clean malpractice history preferred
Must be fully available at name clear
Credentialing timeframe: days
Travel: Local candidates preferred; no air travel provided.
Lodging: Local lodging available if needed.
