- Lead and develop the plant leadership team (Warehouse, Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, HR)
- Ensure all products are produced, packaged, and shipped safely, efficiently, and in compliance with USDA/FDA regulations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, safety, service, and cost
- Maintain SQF certification, food safety standards, and regulatory compliance
- Analyze key plant metrics to identify and implement operational improvements
- Manage budgets, labor, and overhead costs effectively
- Set clear expectations, delegate responsibilities, and hold teams accountable
- Foster a positive, family-oriented culture while leading change with confidence
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of leadership experience in a process manufacturing environment (food manufacturing required)
- Strong knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations, GMPs, and SQF processes
- Proven experience with Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Track record of improving results in quality, safety, service, and cost
- Strong leadership skills: approachable, personable, but confident in driving accountability
- Budgeting and cost control expertise
- Knowledge of Environmental, Safety, and Workers’ Compensation standards
