We are now expanding our leadership team to accelerate B2B, B2B2C, D2C, and Food-as-Medicine adoption.

Role: Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

A hybrid commercial leader + strategic investor to build distribution, partnerships, and new-media traction.

Protelicious is seeking a high-impact Chief Commercial Officer who understands the intersection of:

Food-as-Medicine Clinical nutrition & metabolic health GLP-1 ecosystems (clinics, MDs, weight management, telehealth) Consumer wellness (CPG, luxury, performance, longevity) New-media distribution (influencers, creator partnerships, content-powered GTM)

This person will drive commercial strategy, distribution, partnerships, and early revenue channels across healthcare and consumer markets while also shaping the company’s investor story and fundraising trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

1. B2B & B2B2C & D2C Commercial Strategy

Build and manage a scalable commercial pipeline across: GLP-1 clinics & medical weight-management centers Longevity & metabolic-health practices Telehealth and digital-health partners Meal-plan companies and national D2C distributors Hotels, high-performance gyms, wellness centers Work with the digital team to build D2C momentum Develop pricing, packaging, and order cadence for bulk distribution.

2. “Food-as-Medicine” Market Penetration

Position Protelicious as a

clinical nutritional companion

within healthcare. Build relationships with physicians, dietitians, metabolic-health providers, and payers, in coordination with Protelicious Medical Advisory Board and top management. Support pathways to institutional acceptance (FSA/HSA compatibility, employer wellness).

3. Business Development & Partnerships

Build channel partnerships across healthcare, wellness, retail, and corporate. Lead strategic negotiations with large meal-plan and wellness platforms. Expand distribution into CPG/luxury/longevity ecosystems.

4. New-Media GTM (Aligned with the a16z “New Media” Strategy)

Modern CCOs lead

distribution through audience-building , not just sales. You will:

Architect Protelicious’s influencer and creator distribution pipeline. Partner with Webgains, affiliates, medical creators, and wellness influencers. Build a repeatable system for short-form content, UGC, and consumer storytelling. Oversee top-of-funnel brand narrative: GLP-1, protein, longevity, beauty, pleasure. Develop commercial loops powered by content + community + conversion. (This aligns with the new a16z thesis: Companies with audience & influence → grow faster than companies with only product.)

5. Commercial Leadership & Revenue Optimization

Own commercial KPIs across B2B, D2C, and advisory funnels. Build and shape the sales team structure as the company scales. Prepare reporting and commercial projections for investor relations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Professional Background

10+ years in commercial leadership roles (CCO, VP Sales, VP Biz Dev, GM). Experience in one or more of the following: Clinical nutrition or metabolic health GLP-1 or obesity medicine DTC/CPG wellness Meal-plan or functional food distribution B2B healthcare partnerships High-growth healthtech or foodtech D2C distribution

Core Skills

Proven ability to scale B2B/B2B2C revenue channels. Strong negotiation and partnership-building abilities. Ability to blend consumer marketing with clinical credibility. Familiarity with FDA-compliant nutrition or medical wellness. Strong understanding of new-media marketing and influencer ecosystems.
