Role Description This is a flexible full/ part-time, on-site role for an Audiologist located in Walnut Creek, CA. The Audiologist will perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, including hearing, balance, tinnitus, and auditory processing disorder evaluations. Responsibilities include creating individualized treatment plans, fitting and programming hearing aids following best practices, providing patient education, and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care. Additional duties may involve maintaining accurate patient records and staying updated on advancements in audiology care and technology.
Qualifications Expertise in hearing and balance diagnostic evaluations Experience with hearing aid fitting, programming, and maintenance Strong communication and counseling skills for effective patient and family education Ability to accurately document and manage patient records Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate within a healthcare team Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's in Audiology Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a dispensing audiologist in California Familiarity with advanced audiology technologies and software
