Salary Range: $71,000 - $110,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Hudsonville seeking Manufacturing Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, procure, and qualify production tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production line issues and equipment failures.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Collaborate with R&D and NPI teams to ensure manufacturability of new products and processes.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process flow diagrams.
- Analyze production data to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma).
- Proficiency with CAD software for tooling, fixture, and process layout design.
- Hands-on experience with various manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, assembly, automation, welding).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying and resolving production inefficiencies.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with advanced automation, robotics, or additive manufacturing technologies
- Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, SQL) for data analysis or process automation
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
