Job Summary:
Responsible for scenario analysis, scope development, project planning to include budgeting and timelines, project implementation and commercialization. This would include all aspects of project/construction management such as electrical, mechanical, processing and packaging equipment installation, etc. Ability to train personnel on equipment is a critical component of the commercialization component of the project; both operationally and technically.
This role is remote with travel in the US and Canada to support multiple sites within the network. No relocation is available for this opportunity.
We are seeking this individual to reside in the Chicagoland area, Central to Northern IN, or Southwest to Western Michigan.
Job Duties
Support assigned plants with development, submission, and execution of capital projects.
Participate in OQI (quoting) meetings with the plants and provide scope of work (SOW) documents and capital estimates as needed.
Develop line layout drawings (AutoCAD) for new lines or modifications to existing lines.
Manage contractors during execution of capital projects.
Maintain documentation and reporting for active capital projects. Including weekly status updates, cashflow reporting, and budget tracking.

Work Environment
Work is primarily done in an office setting and manufacturing plant.
Frequent production environment exposure which includes noise, dust, moving machinery, forklifts, and fluctuations in temperature.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
3+ years in project engineering
3+ years project management
3+ years AutoCAD
Experience working in a food manufacturing industry preferred
Travel up to 50% across US and Canada. Passport is needed.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility.
The pay range for this full-time, salaried position is $85,788 -$128,682/year. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
