Now Hiring: WordPress Developer

Location:

Remote in Latin America (Mexico, Central and South America) and Europe.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.

Customize WordPress functionality to support business needs and client projects.

Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

Ensure websites are responsive, performant, SEO-friendly, and secure.

Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and services into WordPress environments.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize sites for scalability and reliability.

Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and process improvements.

About You:

You are passionate about web development and delivering seamless user experiences.

You thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

You have strong problem-solving skills and take ownership of technical challenges.

You care about writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices.

You stay updated on WordPress trends, new tools, and modern web standards.

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of balancing speed with quality.

Must-have skills:

Solid experience with

WordPress development

(themes, plugins, custom post types).

Strong knowledge of

PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and WordPress architecture.

Experience with

MySQL

databases and query optimization.

Familiarity with

RESTful APIs

and integrations.

Proficiency with

Git

and version control workflows.

Good understanding of

responsive design, accessibility, and SEO best practices .

✨ Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with

WooCommerce

or other eCommerce plugins.

Familiarity with

page builders

(Elementor, WPBakery, Divi, etc.).

Knowledge of

headless WordPress

and REST/GraphQL APIs.

Exposure to

Docker

or containerized environments.

Understanding of

cloud platforms

(AWS, GCP, Azure) for deployment.

Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

and automated testing.
