JOB SUMMARY
The Clinic LPN is responsible for providing population specific care within the outpatient setting. Performs a broad range of nursing, office, and laboratory duties to provide exceptional health and wellness services to those from birth to 105 years of age.
The Clinic LPN reports directly to the Director of Clinic Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS Education
Graduate of an accredited Practical School of Nursing.
Licensure/Certification
Current licensure by Missouri State Board of Nursing or compact state.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Experience
Successful completion of orientation for Clinic LPN.
RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES
Obtain patient vital signs and health history, administer screening questionnaires, perform medication reconciliation, and document all findings in the medical record.
Provide follow up on patient referrals, medication refills, authorizations, and other patient-related correspondence and maintain current licensure and proficiencies.
Administer medications, including immunizations as ordered by the clinician, required logs, and information needed for reports.
Perform specimen collection and testing specific to clinic specialty while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
Maintain a safe patient care environment and adhere to all government and organizational policies.
Other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Prolonged standing and walking.
Works indoors in well-lighted and ventilated environment setting.
Direct patient contact, possible exposure to infections, communicable diseases and blood borne pathogens to all patient care elements.
Must assist with lifting and moving of patients as needed.
Occasionally subjected to irregular hours.
Subjected to frequent interruptions.
Handles urgent and emergency situations.
