Job Overview The Director of Contract Lifecycle Management will play a critical role in supporting the enterprise-wide transformation of contract management practices. Reporting to the VP, Contract Lifecycle Management, this position is responsible for overseeing contract governance and the effective deployment, optimization, and maintenance of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology. The Director will ensure systemwide adherence to established policies, drive technology adoption, and facilitate process improvements that enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

Contract Governance: Oversee the implementation and enforcement of contract governance frameworks, ensuring consistency, accountability, and compliance across all business units. Monitor and audit contract processes to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.

Technology Enablement & Change Leadership: Lead the deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization of CLM technology. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to maximize system capabilities, enhance user adoption, and ensure data integrity.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline contract-related workflows through technology and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and support organizational objectives.

Policy Implementation: Support the development, documentation, and enforcement of systemwide contract policies and procedures. Provide training and guidance to staff on governance standards and technology usage.

Reporting & Analytics: Generate regular reports and analysis on contract compliance, technology utilization, and governance metrics. Present findings and actionable insights to the VP and senior leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a liaison between contract management teams, IT, legal, and other key stakeholders to facilitate communication, resolve issues, and drive strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications

B.S./B.A. Business or related field

5 years Experience in contract management

Strong understanding of CLM systems and contract governance best practices

Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

M.A./M.S. Business or related field

7 years Experience in contract management4 years experience leading people

Experience in technology implementation

Strong understanding of CLM systems and contract governance best practices

Experience in Project Management

Compensation Disclaimer The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
