Job Summary and Responsibilities Mercy Medical Group (MMG) is seeking a skilled and compassionate BE/BC General Gastroenterologist Physician to join its congenial team-oriented division. We have opportunities available in both Carmichael and Sacramento, CA. Clinic hours will be focused on general gastroenterology procedures which will include regular screenings, and diagnosing and treating patients with disorders of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon.
Clinic/Hospital call will be shared amongst a larger group (approx. 1:5). Mercy Medical Group has a large built-in referral system, and hospitalists are available 24/7. Call pay is in addition to the two-year guarantee.
Compensation Range: $495,000 - $524,160 / Year
Job Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine.
Fellowship training in Gastroenterology from an accredited program.
Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
Valid medical license to practice in the state of California.
Strong clinical skills and ability to interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

MMG is a large multi-specialty medical group of 500+ providers comprised of primary care physicians, specialists in more than 30 medical and surgical specialties, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. These professionals provide seamless primary and specialty care, working together to meet the unique needs of each individual patient.
MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento. Mercy Medical Group is aligned with Dignity Health, operating on a medical foundation model.
