Overview A growing Neurology unit in Gainesville is seeking Registered Nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for neurological and stroke patients. This unit offers a supportive, fast-paced environment with strong opportunities for professional development. Acute care experience is not required. Candidates from home health, LTAC, skilled nursing, corrections, and outpatient rehab are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Assess and document patient conditions at admission and throughout each shift
Perform nursing procedures and monitoring as ordered
Administer medications and evaluate therapeutic responses
Anticipate patient needs and provide timely, patient-centered service
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, medications, and follow-up expectations
Collaborate with providers and multidisciplinary teams to support optimal outcomes
Qualifications Required:
Minimum 1 year of RN experience (including home health, rehab, LTAC, skilled nursing, or corrections)
Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate license (compact nurses must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation)
BLS certification within 30 days of start
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
