The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
Duties/Responsibilities.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer software is essential. Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is often required.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are crucial for managing inventory and ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
Physical Stamina: The role often requires lifting heavy objects and standing for long periods, so physical stamina and dexterity are important

• Two (2) to four (4) years as a shipping clerk and/or shipping lead.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds at times.
• Able to travel as needed.

Duties/Responsibilities.
- Preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments.
- Organizing inventory for easy retrieval.
- Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules.
- Documenting damages to inventory.
- Recording shipping orders, labeling items, and packing items into containers for shipping.
- Verifying and approving shipments (outgoing or incoming).
- Loading or unloading materials.
- Managing inventory levels and preparing shipping documents.
- Trouble shoots shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track incoming and outgoing shipments, and conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Receiving and Shipping: Inspect incoming stock for damage, verify contents against purchase orders, and prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products.
- Organization: Organize and store products within the warehouse to maximize space and efficiency, ensuring that items are easily accessible.
- Documentation: Record all transactions in the warehouse management system, including receiving and shipping data, to keep inventory levels current.
- Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe workplace
- Any other duty as assigned.
