Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Type of Role: Temp to Hire
Expected Length of Contract: Temp to Hire
Shift / Hours: 7:00am- 5:30pm or 7:00pm-5:30am
Location: Kenosha, WI
Hourly Range:
$19.00/hr DAYS
$20.00/hr NIGHTS
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packager to join our team. The Packager is responsible for preparing products for shipment. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient packaging of customer products while adhering to instructions from the Line Lead and Quality Lead. Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company safety standards is essential.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and varied environment
- Capability to lift and move 50+ lbs
- Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods
- Adherence to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards, including steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and safety vests as required by site leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform essential duties in compliance with company safety, customer, and regulatory requirements
- Conduct pre-operation safety checks on equipment using a checklist, signing off to confirm safety or notifying supervisors of any discrepancies
- Utilize pick sheets, customer orders, and facility systems to identify items for movement and distribution
- Remove products from designated locations manually or with powered equipment
