Crown Linen Service, Inc. is looking for a reliable Route Support & Dock Associate to support our service department and keep our loading dock running smoothly. This position is a mix of dock work, route preparation, light vehicle support, and occasional shuttle/route assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load drivers' rails with garments for delivery

  • Separate patient gowns by route and day; stage at each driver's door

  • Integrate late garments into the correct route/day

  • Pack garments in baskets and place folded customer baskets on the correct routes

  • Put away empty trolleys and move sorted garment trolleys to high storage

  • Keep the loading dock neat, clean, safe, and organized

  • Fix/replace broken truck mirrors (basic adjustments)

  • Clear snow from trucks as needed

  • Shuttle cars and trucks to repair shops

  • Cover shuttle runs as needed (approx. 10 weeks per year)

  • Set up special deliveries and assist on routes as needed

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

  • Ability to safely drive a shuttle truck

  • Must successfully pass a DOT physical

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for most of the shift

  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/loading dock environment and outdoors in all seasons

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with drivers, supervisors, and production staff
